“ A Hidden Gem in Wynyard! I had lunch at Cash Only Diner today and was genuinely impressed. The vibe of the restaurant is cozy, stylish, and welcoming — perfect for a casual lunch. I ordered the spring rolls and the lunch special, beef stew with noodles. The spring rolls were perfectly crispy, full of flavour, and served with fresh herbs and a delicious dipping sauce. The beef stew was the highlight — rich, aromatic, and comforting, with tender beef and beautifully balanced spices. It’s the kind of dish that warms you up from the inside out! Service was fast and friendly, and I loved the attention to detail in both presentation and taste. Despite the name, they do accept cards I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. “ I happen to discover this gem by chance. Was searching for Vietnamese cuisine restaurants and found a long queue outside the one I initially planned to dine. So I changed my mind and entered here. The food, though it’s Vietnamese it has got their own twist which made it even better. Probably, the best stir fry noodles of my life and the pork skewers felt like heaven in every bite. The staff seemed quite welcoming and knowledgeable about the dishes mentioned in their menu. Anyone in Sydney, longing for Vietnamese cuisine should get in here without a second thought. ”

“ Food is great here highly recommend the savoury pancake (Bahn Xeo) and betel leaf beef, crispy chicken and co special fried rice! Jam packed with flavour and everything is so fresh, authentic …just delicious! The wine list could use a spruce up, maybe I’m a bit fussy but a Semillon Sauvignon Blanc would go nicely with most dishes and a late pick verdhelo for the spicy foods…I’ll bring both on my next visit if BYO is ok Despite the name you can pay by card. Wish I had more pictures we started to eat everything too quick! What a great find! Thank you ”

“ Nice mid range Vietnamese spot in city. Crab rice paper rolls were super delicious and the pancake looked good and was decent portion (I didn’t try). The salmon sour soup broth was super flavoursome but there are bones and non crispy skin. A bit slow service but it was a week night and only a few staff working. Usually I would choose a more budget choice for Vietnamese but this was a nice option to get a meal in the area. ”
